Still Hanging In There
We've made it through another 3 weeks and we still doing fine. Today marks exactly 5 months and I can't wait for the 29th April cause not only is it a very special day on the Damons calendar (The day Cecil and I got engaged), but it will also be the day that I find out if we having a little Boy or a little Girl. Right now I just want a strong healthy baby and though I know the daddy would be over the moon with a little Girl he speaks allot of having a little Boy.

Endless Headache
Hi
For the past 4 days I've been suffering from the most terrible non stop headaches. I've tried ice, a vinegar cloth, garlic in cloth wrapped around my head and nothing seems to work. Because of my little expectation I'm not allowed any medication accept for Pernado. I've"even tried the headache clinic, but they need to take x-rays to determine the cause of the headaches and that I'm not allowed either the gentleman I spoke to over the phone told me very politely to call them again after our expectation has arrived. That's in 5 months and I have no intentions of having a headache that long...
You can't come in. by Ellen Costa
You can't come in.
I can't get out,
and there's no changing that.
I feel as if my head is the hippest club in town,
too selective for just anyone to get in or understand.
There's only me,I'm all alone.
I'm all alone in my own world.
There is no helping me,there is only the pain, and that never ends.
The pain lasts forever. Sharp needles in the back of my neck,
in the back of my head,in my hands,in my arms, and in my eyes,
never stopping, always hurting.A circle of pain surrounds me,
and draws me in.
Then a flash of light A cold sensation hits the back of my neck,
I struggle to sleep. My throat closes,I can't breath.
I can't sleep if I can't breath.
Spinning in circles,spinning,spinning,falling,and falling.
A nauseous feeling grabs my stomach, and never lets go.
Every muscle hurts.Every sound,Every vision, and every light hurts.
Lying in a dark room with nowhere to go.
I feel so helpless,so powerless,as if nothing is under my control.
There is no control, they hit,and I hurt, there's no stopping that.
My muscles tighten I scream.
My shoes are taken cold hands and unfamiliar faces holding down my arms and legs.
Suddenly a prick... and prick in my arm.
All I feel is that coldness, that uncomfortableness.
The room begins to spin the medication sets in,spinning and spinning,
falling and falling.
Then darkness...

Update for the 1st 3 months of the year

Hallo
Yes I know I've been quiet for a long long long time. Hope you still having a fantabulas year. My year started off great so to put you in the loop I'll give you a summery.
JANUARY
About 22 years ago my mom and dad met an Indian Pastor (Pastor Thomas) and his family and we've been friends ever since. When I was younger we used to visit them at least twice a year, but since I've started working I seen less and less of them. Anyway the 04/01/2008 we went down to Richardsbay as a family (for the 1st time since both my brother John and I are married) and boy did we have a great time. The reason for our visit was to attend the wedding of Denver and Rowena a very admirable couple who both can't speak or hear. Thought out the wedding there was someone doing sign language - what an experience... I must say I was dumbstruck by how self confident and proud they both and are. I wish them all the best with their future and may God bless them richly.
On the 28Th January was Cecil's birthday and on the 29Th January we celebrated our 2ND wedding anniversary I can't believe its already been 2 years. On the Sunday after church we invited a few of our closest friends over for a small celebration.
FEBRUARY
As a act of faith I will include the following in my blog. On the 19Th Cecil and I got good news from my doctor. The 1st little Damons is on the way, because of the bit of bad luck in the past we have decided to keep this very hush-hush. I'm taking it day by day and making sure that I spend as much time resting as I possibly can. I must admit I sometimes get a bit frustrated cause my sweet hubby does not want me to do anything, but I thank God for him (I guess we cannot be to careful) My family is really exited the due date it the 13 September that's on my mommy's birthday so we all awaiting the arrival in great anticipation.

MARCH
Nothing new accept for me being admitted to hospital for a small operation, but so far both baby and I are doing well. I've also been off sick for two weeks so I've been forced to do something that I don't really like doing - STAYING IN BED. Our church also had a Mini Convention and even though I could not sit up or stand for too long I had a great time listening to the messages while laying in the car by tuning in on the radio. We had a Pastor for Trinidad and Tobago preaching for us and I know for me Easter will never be the same again. My highlight was on Good Friday he preached on The Crucifixion from a medical point of view.

That's all for now gota run... Chat to you soon

Our Flower Bud Has Arrived

Our little Hebrews 11:1 has finally arrived on the 1st September 2008 (Spring Day) at 09:10. Her 1st and 2nd names are both Hebrew names:
Asenath - meaning "She is her fathers" and
Hadessah - meaning "She who took a long time to come"
She's weighed 2.88kg at birth and thus far its been an absolute pleasure having her around. She looks soooooo much like her daddy and I must say his been a real darling with her. We living with my mom and dad for the first 3 weeks because I'm supposed to be in bed for 6weeks after my operation so I have the luxury of having help from my mom and dad, but daddy (Cecil)insists on doing all the bathing while his still home at night's as well as the nappy changing when she wakes up in the middle of the night. We honestly can't complain about her - she seldom cries and I can lay her down at anytime while I do my own thing. I'm sure she must be the sweetest little thing alive. Apart from eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping all day she's a real darling. Only problem is that at nights little Asenath thinks it's day that's the time she really wants attention.
